film review

Two listless girls conclude that, the world having spoiled, they are entitled to spoil alongside it, and proceed to eat, demolish and giggle through seventy minutes of pure anarchic collage. A Czech film of 1966 that earned its director a state ban, and it feels more alive than nearly anything released this year.
When the world declines to make sense, gluttony and mischief become a perfectly serviceable grammar. Sometimes the only move remaining is to be gloriously, uselessly ungovernable.
this is one entry from a wandering list of films, books, shows and albums, kept by someone trying to live a slightly more deliberate life.
